Hook N Ladder Fishing was founded by two firefighters who share more than a love for the ocean — we share a calling to serve. Captain Canon Racanelli leads the business as COO, alongside Derek Smith, the company's CFO, keeping every trip running the way it should: firefighters and outdoorsmen who believe in doing things the right way. One of our founders is the father of a child diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at just four years old — an experience that shaped a deep commitment to serving families facing hard circumstances.
